Product Manager

Backed by military-grade security and cutting-edge technology, the Voatz mobile voting platform has been used across more than 50 elections, with more in store for this year. 

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team. If you’re passionate about building engaging, functional products at the intersection of democracy and technology, we’d love to hear from you!


What you’ll do:

  • Drive execution for products including planning, research, positioning, requirements development and product launch
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, sales and marketing teams on the development, QA, and release of products to ensure success
  • Scope, plan, and lead product sprints across engineering, design and QA teams
  • Prioritize future product releases from backlog based on business and customer impact
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve voter experience and drive growth
  • Research and comb the accessibility, security and civic tech space for new ideas to build into product timeline and improve the voting experience

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Design or Design (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years experience in a dynamic Product Management role for a technology company
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management
  • Exceptional communication skills and writing skills and detail-oriented
  • You are a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy getting your hands dirty building products
  • Curious and excited about the intersection of technology and democracy, and sparking civic engagement

Extra Points:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Design or Design
  • Previous software, Android/iOS application, or web development or design experience
