Voatz Civic Tech Fellowship (USA)

We’re looking for highly motivated and qualified students across the country to join Voatz as Civic Tech Fellows. The fellowship provides an opportunity to work at the intersection of technological and political progress within your own campus and local community. Students will be provided tangible work experience in Sales, Marketing, and Market Research from a venture-backed, award winning startup. Fellows will gain access to a strong, nation-wide network, along with priority application status for full-time Voatz summer internship positions.

Civic Tech Fellows will be awarded a semesterly stipend and sales incentives.


Voatz is changing how the world votes. Its innovative and highly secure mobile voting platform has been used by more than 50,000 voters in various elections and voting events in multiple jurisdictions around the world. The Voatz platform focuses on providing cutting-edge security alongside an easy to use interface to enable voters to make their voices heard in a convenient manner.


  • Research and report on university student government structures and voting platforms.   
  • Communicate the Voatz platform to influencers and/ decision makers within student government as well as the corresponding administrative contacts (via meetings and group presentations).
  • Content creation: Create one or more media products (articles, blogs, videos, etc.) tied to campus community, students, blockchain, voting, or Voatz.
  • General interest and promotion: host Voatz demos or info sessions, or present at other campus clubs that would have overlapping interest in politics, technology, etc.
  • Source other schools that may be a good fit for the Voatz platform within the region via warm introductions and student network.

  • Bonus points for passion about politics, the electoral process, and blockchain technology

All fellows will receive training on Voatz’s missions and goals. Only candidates who are currently enrolled as full time/part-time students at a US college or university are considered. Due to the volume of applications we typically receive, we will only be reaching out to applicants who are selected for interviews.
