We're looking for a Director of QA (Quality Assurance) & Certification to join our team and help us manage and scale up QA activities along with gearing up to obtain several security certifications.
 
What we're looking for:
  • Must have expertise of election technology policies practices and processes
  • Ability to serve as technical and policy lead pertaining to the overall Voting System Testing and Certification Program and guidelines
  • Must be proficient in the security risks and threat profiles applicable to election technologies with knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
  • Expertise in interpreting and translating technical documentation and other communications to a multitude of audiences.
  • Proficiency in international and/or other industry standards for quality assurance and quality management systems, including configuration management.
  • Planning, researching and developing security focused testing policies, standards (e.g. OWASP) and procedures
  • In-depth technical knowledge of project management practices and the skillset to apply them to an array of election technology projects.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks (e.g. NIST, etc.)
  • Experience in automation of security testing tools
  • Knowledge of and experience in Agile/Scrum based QA methodologies.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, helpful and calm under pressure
  • Proactive attitude, loves to work in a fast-paced environment where the tool set is continuously evolving
  • General proficiency with Linux, MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android operating systems
  • Experience in developing/testing smartphone apps and verifying accessibility/WCAG is a plus.
 
What you'll be working on:
  • Develop and carry out security and accessibility compliance testing plans and policies
  • Serve as a Project Manager for internal and external quality assurance campaigns
  • Lead the implementation and management of a test automation framework for comprehensive testing of Voatz's core platform and the associated web/desktop/mobile applications
  • Develop browser and server side test automation tools/scripts using Java, Selenium, Python, etc
  • Lead the certification of product features and accessibility capabilities including black box functional testing (including manual and automated testing), system testing, performance, stability and load testing
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
